The Korea Federation of Construction Associations announced on the 16th that it held a policy agreement ceremony with Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's 20th presidential candidate, at the Construction Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu.
The contents of the policy agreement include ▲continuing to expand national infrastructure investment to recover the economy and leap forward as a leading country, ▲striving to raise the criteria for preliminary feasibility study targets for balanced national development and infrastructure investment, ▲promoting national future-leading projects such as the 5 Poles 3 Special Mega City project, and ▲introducing cooperative and autonomous safety management methods used in advanced countries for disaster prevention to change the industrial safety paradigm.
There was a consensus that the ruling party and the construction industry will join forces to help the construction sector, which is struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, to leap forward, and that the ruling party will also support construction policies.
