Gochang-gun, 60% Reduction in Water and Sewage Fees as COVID-19 Response Measure
[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] On the 16th, Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced that it will continue to promote the reduction of water and sewage usage fees this year as one of the COVID-19 response measures.
This reduction in water and sewage usage fees is part of efforts to provide more practical benefits to small business owners who have endured difficult times due to business restrictions.
The reduction applies to small business owners and self-employed individuals operating general and public bathhouse services, with a 60% discount on water and sewage fees from the April 2020 billing period until the COVID-19 situation stabilizes.
Eligible small business owners can apply by submitting a reduction application form and a copy of their business registration certificate to the Water and Sewage Office or the relevant eup/myeon office.
A county official stated, “We hope this will provide some help to small business owners facing economic difficulties due to the nationwide spread and prolongation of COVID-19 and contribute to economic revitalization.”
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Water and Sewage Office management team.
