Point Mobile Expects Sales Growth for Amazon Market

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Research Alom analyzed on the 15th that Point Mobile has entered a full-fledged growth phase by securing numerous overseas clients.
Researcher Donghyun Lee of Research Alom stated, "Amazon is a key client of Point Mobile," and explained, "If Amazon exercises its warrants in 2024, it will become the second largest shareholder."
He added, "Sales to Amazon increased from 2.8 billion KRW in 2019 to 25 billion KRW last year," and "this year, we expect sales of 70 billion KRW."
Lee analyzed, "the industrial PDA PM85 supplied to Amazon was only used inside logistics warehouses because it did not receive network certification," and "last October, it obtained LTE network certification from the US telecom company Verizon, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors without restrictions."
He predicted, "Starting this year, related sales will increase as devices will be supplied not only to Amazon's US logistics warehouses but also to Amazon's offline stores."
