In response, Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, expressed an 'I knew it' stance.
Through his Facebook on the same day, Lee stated, "It’s not a case of ‘I knew it’ after ‘just in case,’ but rather ‘I knew it’ after ‘I knew it,’" referring to Ahn’s proposal for opposition unification.
Along with this, Lee attached a photo reminiscent of Sun Wukong in Journey to the West, who showed all kinds of tricks but was ultimately still in the Buddha’s palm.
