Gwangju City Council Launches Full-Scale Activities of Environment Corporation Chairman Confirmation Hearing Special Committee
Jeong Sun-ae Elected as Committee Chairperson and Kim Gwang-ran as Vice Chairperson
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan Council announced on the 13th that it formed a special personnel hearing committee for the chairman of the Gwangju Environmental Corporation on the 11th and appointed a total of seven members.
Council members Jeong Sunae, Kim Gwangran, Kim Nayun, Kim Jeomgi, Jang Yeonju, Jo Seokho, and Choi Mijeong will serve as committee members.
Council member Jeong Sunae was appointed as the chairperson, and Kim Gwangran was elected as the vice-chairperson.
The personnel hearing special committee plans to hold a personnel hearing next month as soon as the candidate recruitment process is completed to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate for chairman of the Gwangju Environmental Corporation, including morality, expertise, and policy execution ability.

Chairperson Jeong Sunae stated, “The Gwangju Environmental Corporation manages and operates essential environmental infrastructure closely related to citizens' daily lives, such as sewage treatment facilities and food waste recycling facilities.
