The impact comes after an explosion accident occurred around 9 a.m. at Yeocheon NCC Plant 3 in Yeosu National Industrial Complex, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do. Among the 8 workers, 4 are reported dead, and 4 others have sustained moderate to severe injuries and are being transported to the hospital. The cause of the accident is presumed to be an explosion during a heat exchanger test at the plant.
