Joined the Hollywood Park Technology Cooperation Alliance
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]Samsung Electronics is joining global technology companies to renovate Hollywood Park in Los Angeles (LA), USA.
On the 11th, Samsung Electronics announced that it has joined the 'Hollywood Park Technology Collaboration Alliance' along with SoFi, Google Cloud, YouTube, Verizon, Deloitte, Cisco, Square, Ticketmaster, Los, Willow, PAM, and others. The approximately 1,214,000㎡ (370,000 pyeong) site, where regional redevelopment is underway under the name 'Hollywood Park Project,' will include an NFL stadium, hotels, shopping centers, office buildings, various performance venues, parks, and residential areas.
Samsung Electronics joined the project to implement innovative display technologies and products such as LED video boards and ribbon-type large LED signage (displays installed in public places) in sports and entertainment spaces. Accordingly, commercial signage products will be applied throughout Hollywood Park, including retail, office, residential, sports, and entertainment areas.
Previously, Samsung Electronics supplied the Samsung Infinity Screen to SoFi Stadium, the home stadium for the upcoming Super Bowl on the 13th and one of LA's landmarks. This screen is the largest scoreboard in sports history, featuring a double-sided 4K LED display approximately 6,500m² in size. Spectators can enjoy the game vividly from any seat.
