GS25 Signs Business Agreement with Taekyung Nongsan to Develop Vegan Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS25 announced on the 10th that it has signed a business agreement with Nongshim Group's Taekyung Nongsan to jointly develop vegan products and lead new markets.
Through this business agreement, the two companies plan to jointly promote projects focusing on ▲joint development of vegan products and pioneering new markets ▲strengthening promotions and marketing activities to boost sales ▲sharing trends and information related to veganism.
Regular specialized vegan education will be provided to GS25 merchandisers (MDs), and visits to production factories will be conducted to enhance the vegan capabilities of the team members. Additionally, the number of vegan products will be expanded from about 20 last year to over 30 this year.

A GS Retail official stated, "In line with the trend of vegan lifestyles emerging as a new trend, we plan to focus on strengthening vegan expertise and expanding the product lineup," adding, "The expansion of vegan products is expected to fulfill growing value consumption among customers as well as practice the company's ESG (environment, social, governance) management."
