Wemakeprice, Zero Commission for Partner Shopping Malls Too
Differentiated from Existing Meta-Commerce... Eliminating 2-8% Fees and Allowing Partner App Access
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] WEMAKEPRICE has declared zero commission fees for its 'Meta Shopping' partnerships. It will also allow application (app) access so that partner shopping malls can directly connect with users.
On the 10th, WEMAKEPRICE announced that it will change the commission fee for its metadata-based shopping platform 'Meta Shopping' to 0%. Partner shopping malls that have existing contracts with WEMAKEPRICE will also not be charged any commission fees starting next month.
Generally, meta-commerce platforms charge partner shopping malls a commission fee ranging from 2% to 8%. When consumers who are directed to the shopping mall through meta-commerce purchase products, the platform receives a certain percentage of sales commission (CPS) or a connection fee (CPC) based on user inflow.
WEMAKEPRICE decided not to charge partner shopping malls for customer inflow or sales generation costs. In particular, by supporting app access, partner shopping malls can choose whether the landing page for users coming through Meta Shopping is on the web or the app.
Earlier, WEMAKEPRICE announced its plan to provide D2C (Direct to Customer) services free of charge to brand companies, scheduled to open in the first quarter. The D2C service is a one-stop solution that allows users to easily check brand official homepage shopping content on WEMAKEPRICE and proceed directly to purchase.
By eliminating cost burdens for partner shopping malls on Meta Shopping and expanding user touchpoints, WEMAKEPRICE plans to faithfully serve as a connecting link between partner companies and users.
