Distribution of Self-Test Kits to 5,000 Low-Income Children and Adolescents Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 10th that it donated 10,000 COVID-19 self-test kits to 165 child welfare facilities and community child centers nationwide on the 9th to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among low-income youth.
This donation comes in response to the continuous increase in confirmed cases among those under 18 due to the spread of the Omicron variant. The self-test kits were distributed to 5,000 low-income children and adolescents (2 kits per person) at 165 child welfare facilities and community child centers nationwide, to be used for early detection of confirmed cases through proactive COVID-19 testing and to prevent further spread of infection.
