Clean from head to toe with just one sheet... Ulju-gun to provide filial piety vouchers as cards starting this year
Quarterly Auto Recharge Reduces Loss Concerns and Adds Convenience
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Ulju-gun, Ulsan City, will issue and support senior bathing and beauty expenses through a Filial Duty Use Card starting this year.
The support project, which began last year, distributed paper vouchers for use, but from 2022, 15,000 KRW will be automatically loaded quarterly onto the Filial Duty Use Card.
After using services at registered affiliated stores such as bathhouses, barbershops, and beauty salons where the Filial Duty Use Card is accepted, payment can be made with the card.
The amount is automatically loaded onto the Filial Duty Use Card quarterly, and if not used by December 20, 2022, the loaded amount will automatically expire.
The card is issued to local seniors aged 70 and over, and they can apply by visiting the eup/myeon administrative welfare center with their ID.
If a child or another person applies on behalf of the senior, they must visit with the ID of both the applicant and the proxy, as well as a family relation certificate, and it must be confirmed that the beneficiary and the proxy are family members.
Affiliated stores for the Filial Duty Use Card are being recruited continuously, and those wishing to join should visit the eup/myeon administrative welfare center with a business registration certificate and a copy of the representative’s bankbook.
