This meeting was held to raise awareness of safety management at the headquarters in preparation for the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, which was enforced on the 27th of last month.
Choi Yang-hwan, CEO of Booyoung Group, reestablished safety management goals and urged field workers to familiarize themselves with work manuals and comply with safety rules, the company explained.
This year, Booyoung Group set its occupational health and safety management policy as "Starting now, I will comply with laws and regulations to establish a safety-first culture," with goals of "Zero serious industrial accidents," "Strengthening the three major safety and health management systems," and "Fostering and supporting safety and health management systems for partner companies."
