Illegal Outdoor Advertisements Completely Removed... Cheongsong-gun Launches Operation 'Clean Streets'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has launched a five-day joint campaign with county office and eup/myeon officials to thoroughly clean up illegal outdoor advertisements from the 7th to the 11th to create a clean street environment.
The main targets for cleanup are unauthorized illegal banners, posters, leaflets, signboards, and air lights. The focus is on eup and myeon centers, main roads near schools, and areas with heavy pedestrian traffic.
Considering the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the county organized small teams. The cleanup targets include obscene, decadent, and gambling-related outdoor advertisements, as well as ads that cause inconvenience to daily life or damage the landscape. Illegal banners that obstruct pedestrians and drivers will also be removed.
