Gimhae-si Announces Recruitment for Tenants of 'Deobureo Nanum Housing' Rental Program
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 8th that it is recruiting applicants for the '2022 Together Sharing Housing' rental program.
Together Sharing Housing is a project that supports remodeling costs (80% of remodeling costs, up to 13.6 million KRW) to landlords of houses that have been vacant for more than one year, houses occupied by seniors aged 65 or older, and apartment buildings over 20 years old, and rents these houses at half the market price to tenants such as low-income families, single-parent families, newlyweds, and youth for a mandatory rental period of 2 to 4 years as monthly or yearly rent.
The city is promoting the project this year as well, securing a project budget of 13.6 million KRW per unit. Last year, an apartment located in Jinyeong was secured as rental housing, and beneficiary households were selected as tenants.
Citizens wishing to rent can apply by visiting the Apartment Housing Division at City Hall starting from the 8th.
