Various Employment Support Programs to Overcome Difficult Job Market Start Recruiting from the 7th... 'Cheongsa-jin Academy' Comprehensive Employment Gift Set Caring from Resume to Interview, Strengthening Youth Employment Competencies
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] As the economic downturn caused by COVID-19 continues, Seocho-gu has rolled up its sleeves to help overcome the increasingly difficult employment barriers.
Seocho-gu is launching various employment support programs in full swing to help young people break through the narrowing job market.
This month, the programs to be launched include the youth social advancement program "Blueprint Academy," which helps prepare for job applications all at once?from writing self-introduction letters, interviews, to job aptitude written tests?and the "Public Enterprise Employment Additional Certification Pass Class," which assists in acquiring 12 types of certifications that provide extra points when applying for public enterprises.
Recruitment for these two employment programs begins on the 7th.
First, Blueprint Academy operates two classes: the "Self-Introduction Letter & Interview Preparation Class" and the "NCS & Job Aptitude Class."
The "Self-Introduction Letter & Interview Preparation Class" is a comprehensive employment strategy preparation class where participants can learn strategic self-introduction letter writing and interview preparation methods along with one-on-one consulting. Especially this year, it will be operated twice in consideration of the employment season (first and second half of the year), with extended one-on-one consulting time (90 minutes per person) and additional employment strategy special lectures provided.
The "NCS & Job Aptitude Class" helps participants prepare all at once?from analyzing question types to solving practical problems?according to the desired job category. From March to August, it will be conducted as online lectures for 100 students per class.
Blueprint Academy allows job seekers to freely choose programs according to their individual needs, and overlapping enrollment is possible if desired. The district officials expect it to be a "comprehensive employment gift set" for young people preparing for employment.
Also, the "Public Enterprise Employment Additional Certification Pass Class," which will run from March to November, is planned for a total of 70 participants and will be conducted through online lectures. It helps acquire 12 certifications that provide additional points for public enterprise employment, including Computer Utilization Ability, Korean History Proficiency Test, and Korean Language Proficiency Test, serving as a stepping stone toward employment.
To apply for the "Blueprint Academy" and "Public Enterprise Employment Additional Certification Pass Class," applicants can fill out the Google Form linked in the announcements section of the Seocho-gu Office website.
