KT Revamps Business Cooperation Platform... Proposal Review Period Reduced to Within One Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT is revamping its business proposal process to enable partners to easily submit excellent ideas and service proposals.
On the 6th, KT announced that it will enhance its business cooperation platform, ‘KT TechCare,’ and improve it so that the progress of evaluations can be transparently shared with partners.
KT TechCare was established in 2019 to protect important business information such as technologies and ideas proposed by partners to KT. Currently, about 2,000 partners are registered. Previously, partners’ business proposals were received through various channels such as email and business meetings, making it difficult to manage records and causing long review and evaluation periods.
Going forward, KT will introduce a responsible review system to ensure that excellent proposals are reviewed within one month and promptly delivered to business departments. Executives from related departments will be in charge of evaluations to provide swift feedback. Partners who proposed the business can transparently check the progress of submission, assignment, and evaluation. KT supports business cooperation opportunities and joint commercialization programs for excellent proposals selected through evaluations. Partners wishing to collaborate in future growth areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, cloud, robotics, health, bio, as well as telecommunications business areas including wired and wireless services and devices, can join.
