[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] On the 4th, Naju City in Jeollanam-do announced that it is accepting applications for the interest subsidy support project for small business owners in the city until the budget is exhausted.
This project is based on the 'Naju City Small Business Support Ordinance' and provides interest subsidies for management stabilization funds (up to 50 million KRW) borrowed by small business owners from 19 local financial institutions that have signed agreements with the city. The interest is supported by the city budget at an annual rate of up to 3% for two years.
This year, the loan amount is set at a total of 6.6 billion KRW, with 3.3 billion KRW allocated for each half of the year.
The support targets small business owners who have business registration and operate their business premises within Naju City. Gambling and entertainment industries are excluded from eligibility.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Naju branch of the Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation and submitting the application form.
After screening, if confirmed as eligible, loans can be obtained from financial institutions that have agreements with the city, such as NH Nonghyup Bank Naju Branch, Naju Credit Union, and Naju Saemaeul Geumgo.
Through the interest subsidy support project, the city has so far supported 16.9 million KRW for 169 small business owners in the city.
For more details, inquiries can be made through the city hall website (notices) or the Job Economy Division and the Naju branch of the Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation.
