He added, "If there is something difficult, I think it is courteous to explain it while going through it."
At the presidential candidate agricultural policy vision presentation held that day, Yoon responded this way when asked by reporters whether he agreed with the criticism from the Democratic Party of Korea that there were weaknesses in policy aspects. During the debate the day before, Yoon asked again after not knowing the terms RE100 and 'EU Taxonomy' mentioned by Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate. Yoon also stated that he would attend the debate scheduled for the 8th.
Regarding the claim that former Presidential Secretary No Young-min apologized to the Chinese side after Yoon made anti-China remarks, he retorted, "They make up things that don't even exist well."
On the possibility that former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min might join next week, he said, "I haven't heard the exact words yet, but if he does, it would feel like gaining a great ally."

Meanwhile, concerning Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Hong Nam-ki's refusal to agree to an increase in the supplementary budget (추경) despite bipartisan agreement, Yoon drew a line by saying, "That is Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki's opinion." He added, "We have already stated several months ago that at least 50 trillion won is necessary, specifying the concrete use and criteria of funds to compensate for damages to self-employed and small business owners caused by COVID-19." He continued, "Since the concept of loss compensation is not included at all in the supplementary budget proposal, the ruling party's proposal to negotiate is not very meaningful."
