[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] A man in his 40s who threatened a neighbor with a weapon after the neighbor came down to complain about noise between floors during the Lunar New Year holiday in Seoul was arrested by the police.
The Eunpyeong Police Station in Seoul announced on the 3rd that they have arrested and are investigating a man in his 40s, Mr. A (42), on charges of special intimidation.
Mr. A is accused of holding a weapon at the entrance and saying, "Don't keep coming over," when Mr. B, a man in his 40s living upstairs, came down to his house around 8 p.m. on the 2nd to complain about noise between floors.
Police investigation revealed that the two had frequent conflicts over noise issues between floors.
