The tournament will be conducted in formats divided into international tournament and Nordic (where every player competes against each other once) depending on the number of participants in each weight class.
From the host county Hampyeong, four athletes including Yang Si-on (male, Greco-Roman 77kg), Kim Jong-min (male, Greco-Roman 67kg), Na Myung-gil (male, Greco-Roman 72kg), and Kim Ga-bin (male, Greco-Roman 63kg) will participate to demonstrate their skills.
In particular, as this tournament is the first nationwide sports event held in a long time amid the COVID-19 situation that has lasted over two years, it is expected to greatly help revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant.
