Chosun University Career Center Receives 'Highest Grade' in Ministry of Employment and Labor Annual Performance Evaluation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Chosun University Career Center received the highest rating of "Excellent" in the 2021 "University Career Center Annual Performance Evaluation."
According to Chosun University on the 26th, the University Career Center project is organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service to support career exploration and employment for current students, graduates, and local youth.
This annual performance evaluation was conducted on 100 universities including Chosun University. The key evaluation areas include ▲one-stop career and employment support infrastructure ▲career and employment support services ▲local youth employment services and youth perception ▲annual improvement and maintenance, totaling 4 areas and 21 indicators.
Chosun University Career Center received high scores in the key evaluation areas and achieved the highest rating of "Excellent" in the comprehensive evaluation results.
In particular, Chosun University Career Center was recognized for establishing a systematic integrated counseling channel from lower to upper grades, providing demand-tailored career services, and operating various employment support programs suited to the university's characteristics.
Additionally, Chosun University collaborated and coordinated with related local institutions. As a regional hub university, it established a stepwise employment support program titled "From Youth Self-Understanding to Independent Growth in the Employment Market" targeting local youth including other universities and specialized high schools, along with integrated counseling programs by type. The successful implementation of these programs earned recognition for fulfilling its role as a hub university.
President Min Young-don expressed, "Going forward, we will expand the target of career and employment support services to youth within two years after university graduation and devote all our efforts to providing various comprehensive services necessary for employment to ensure the successful social advancement of current students and local youth."

The University Career Plus Center broadens career and employment support services to youth within two years after graduation and provides comprehensive services such as job discovery and matching, and integrated linked counseling.
