"Ready in 6 Minutes at Home" Shinsegae Food Launches 3 Types of Einstein Bros Bagels
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The famous American bagel brand, ‘Einstein Bros Bagels,’ can now be enjoyed at home.
Shinsegae Food announced on the 26th that it has launched three types of ‘Milk & Honey Einstein Bros Bagels’ par-baked products, which can be conveniently enjoyed at home using an air fryer, exclusively for online sales.
The three types of Milk & Honey Einstein Bros Bagels are made using the raw dough from Einstein Bros Bagels, a representative American bagel specialty store, replicating the authentic bagel recipe. The dough is lightly boiled to preserve the chewy texture characteristic of traditional bagels. The flavors include plain, onion, and blueberry?three types that are highly preferred by customers?allowing consumers to choose according to their taste and preference.
In particular, the par-baked products are developed by baking about 90% of the raw dough first and then flash freezing it. By cooking for just 6 minutes in a preheated air fryer at 160 degrees Celsius without thawing, you can enjoy the taste and aroma of freshly baked warm bagels. They can be paired with cream cheese or made into sandwiches for meals, and can also be used as desserts when served with jam or fruit. Additionally, the products are packaged in zipper bags for safe and convenient storage of any leftovers.
The three types of Milk & Honey Einstein Bros Bagels are sold on online malls such as Coupang, Gmarket, Kakao Shopping, and 11st, priced at 6,800 KRW for plain (100g x 5 pieces) and 7,000 KRW for blueberry and onion (100g x 5 pieces).
