The Serious Accident Punishment Act is a law that strengthens safety and health measures to prevent industrial accidents related to safety incidents occurring at construction sites.
The punishment law imposes safety and health assurance obligations on the management responsible persons of organizations, and ahead of its enforcement, it is strengthening preemptive response measures at each construction site and ordering party.
BPA inspected the safety and health management systems at five major construction projects, including the upper facility construction of the Busan New Port West Container Terminal (phases 2 to 5), and took time to share specialized safety and health management systems.
