[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Small and Medium Business Corporation (Head: Park Hong-ju) announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the first phase of the Export Voucher Project and the Logistics-Only Voucher Project (Long-term Transportation Contract Support) until the 12th.
The total support scale is 95.7 billion KRW, and in this first phase of recruiting participating companies, a budget of 76.5 billion KRW, which accounts for 80% of the total budget, has been allocated. Approximately 2,500 companies nationwide will be selected through a selection evaluation, and full-scale support will begin in March.
From this year, to improve the convenience and understanding of companies' applications, companies engaged in innovative growth fields such as Brand-K, Smart Manufacturing Innovation, and companies located in Regulatory Free Zones will also be unified under export capabilities for recruitment.
Selected companies will receive government subsidies ranging from 30 million KRW to a maximum of 100 million KRW depending on the previous year's export scale, and can freely choose and use desired services from a total of 13 service menus including design development, overseas certification, and patents.
The Logistics-Only Voucher Project is a supplementary budget project implemented for the first time last year to resolve logistics difficulties of small and medium venture companies such as shortage of shipping space and continuous high freight rates. Next year, a budget of 11.8 billion KRW, increased from 10.9 billion KRW the previous year, will be allocated to continue support for resolving logistics difficulties of small and medium enterprises.
The Logistics-Only Voucher is divided into two types: ▲ Long-term Transportation Contract Support field ▲ General Logistics Support field, and participating companies will be recruited through separate announcements. In 2022, the Long-term Transportation Contract Support field will be recruited first, supporting up to 20 million KRW per company, of which 70% will be subsidized by the government.
