According to the fire authorities on the 31st, a fire occurred at around 7:45 a.m. at a poultry farm in Gwidun-ri, Inje-eup, Inje-gun, Gangwon, and was extinguished after about an hour.
The fire completely burned down one selection building of 100㎡ and burned 250㎡ out of a 1000㎡ breeding facility.
Additionally, 500 chickens died, and 15,000 chickens that inhaled smoke or were scorched by the fire and lost commercial value had to be discarded, resulting in an estimated total property damage of approximately 256 million won according to the fire department.
