In October, the Department of Architecture installed and exhibited 'Pavilions' throughout Gyeongnam National University as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement's 'Architectural Design Talent Development' project, incorporating the concept of recycling.
Among them was the 'Play Space Pavilion,' made using hula hoops for children to run and play, which was designed from the beginning to be recyclable. The hula hoops remained unchanged even after dismantling.
After dismantling the pavilion, the Department of Architecture distributed a total of 396 hula hoops obtained to 'Changwon City Seoseong Daycare Center,' 'Kolon Hansem Kindergarten,' 'Oceanville Navy Daycare Center,' and 'Changwon Haedoji Kindergarten' to be used as children's play equipment.
