KAI CEO Ahn Hyun-ho and Executives Purchase Approximately 12,000 Company Shares
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on the 30th that 34 executives, including President Ahn Hyun-ho, purchased company shares.
The executives purchased approximately 12,000 shares, worth about 370 million KRW.
A KAI official stated, "This reflects the management's responsible leadership and confidence in the future growth of the aerospace industry," adding, "Next year will be a year of quantum leap for creating future growth engines and development."
To create new growth opportunities next year, KAI is preparing for the initial flight of the Korean fighter jet KF-21, completion of the small armed helicopter (LAH) system development and initial mass production contract, as well as contracts for amphibious assault and mine countermeasure helicopter system development.

KAI also stated, "We are preparing to participate in the Korean Positioning System (KPS) project and launch vehicle advancement project, and expect next year to be a significant year as a stepping stone to enter the global market with products such as the U.S. tactical trainer, aiming to export 1,000 complete aircraft."
