GC Green Cross Healthcare Changes Company Name to 'GC Care'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] GC Green Cross Healthcare announced on the 30th that it will make a fresh start as a leading IT platform company in the digital healthcare market by changing its name to ‘GC Care.’ The company explained that the name change was pursued to proactively respond to rapidly changing consumer demands due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to lead the digital platform market.
On this occasion, GC Care plans to expand its existing B2B-centered business operation system to B2C. Early next year, it will newly launch a ‘Health Portal’ that combines health checkup services with personalized healthcare programs, providing data- and mobile experience-centered services. The goal is for anyone, anytime, anywhere to easily receive checkups with great benefits, quickly check their body symptoms and diseases, and conveniently manage themselves in daily life.
In addition, targeting the corporate health checkup market, it will also expand the ‘Total Health Consulting Service’ that links employee health checkup results with personalized daily care services. The role of the ‘Smart Care Coordinator’ for chronic patients who need daily health management, such as diabetes and hypertension, will also be strengthened.
