For the Next Generation Nightingale... Yeungnam Institute of Technology Nursing Department Graduate Donates to Alma Mater

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Intern Reporter Lee Seryeong] Graduates of the Department of Nursing at Yeongnam Polytechnic College donated 15.71 million KRW in development funds and 2 million KRW in scholarships to their alma mater on the 29th.
The donation ceremony was attended by President Lee Jaeyong, Dean Jang Heejeong of the College of Nursing, Lee Kyunghwa, president of the Nursing Department Alumni Association, and Shin Myungju, the association’s accountant.
Established in 1983, the Department of Nursing provides education at the ‘Nightingale House,’ equipped with state-of-the-art practical training facilities, and conducts clinical practice at Yeungnam University Medical Center.
With a national nursing exam pass rate reaching 100% over several years, the health and medical personnel allocation results will increase the number of students by 15 next year, selecting 160 new students.
Graduates of the Department of Nursing, especially those working at Yeungnam University Hospital, save a portion of their monthly salaries to accumulate development funds and scholarships, which they donate to their alma mater.
