SpaceX Secures Additional $337 Million Investment
[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk, has secured an additional investment of $337 million, according to major foreign media reports on the 29th (local time).
SpaceX has been raising funds continuously this year. In April, SpaceX raised $1.16 billion. Initially, in February, it secured $850 million in investments from Alphabet, Google's parent company, and asset management firm Fidelity, but due to high demand, the funding amount was increased, ultimately raising $1.16 billion by April. At that time, SpaceX was valued at $74 billion.
In October, SpaceX reportedly raised more than $700 million in investments. At the time of the October funding round, the company was valued at over $100 billion.
