2022 First Half Organizational Restructuring
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (President Oh Dong-yoon) announced on the 30th that it has carried out an organizational restructuring to enhance operational efficiency, including separating research and business functions as of January 1, 2022.
The research department reorganized its structure considering the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' system to strengthen collaboration with the parent ministry and solidify the institute's role as a policy think tank. In the case of the business department, the business execution organization was separated and integrated from individual research labs to enhance management efficiency by strengthening organic connections between projects.
