Jin Joong-kwon: "Yoon's remark on Lee Jae-myung's 'confirmed serious crime' is rude... There are limits in politics"
"Response to the debate proposal, but not a proper reply"
"The side with declining approval ratings resorts to negativity... Has the situation changed?"

On the 29th, Jin appeared on CBS Radio's 'One Round Match' and criticized, "There are boundaries in politics too. (Yoon's remark) was unnecessary."
On the 28th, at the Korea Broadcasting Journalists Club invitation debate held at the Korea Broadcasting Hall in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, Yoon was asked, "What do you think about the criticism that refusing to debate infringes on voters' right to know?" and he drew a line by saying, "I find it difficult to accept politically aggressive debate proposals."
On that day, Yoon said about Lee, "Is he in a position to have countless debates about the national vision?" and claimed, "It is difficult for an opposition candidate to accept politically aggressive debate proposals that try to 'muddy the waters' by having a candidate with a confirmed serious crime and no room for excuse talk about future vision."
Regarding this remark, former professor Jin said, "This kind of statement itself was a response to whether to debate or not, but it is not a proper response. I view it quite negatively," and evaluated, "It would have been better to say, 'Debating is good, but I don't really understand your position. It changes today and tomorrow,' something like that."

Meanwhile, when Yoon strongly rejected Lee's debate proposal, Lee appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' on the 29th and said, "(Yoon) seems a bit flustered," but also pointed out, "Isn't there such a thing as dignity? Someone who wants to become the president deciding the fate of the nation should not make excessive remarks."
He added, "That person (Yoon) is a former special prosecutor, right? He tends to make conclusions," and claimed, "One characteristic of special prosecutors is that they can fabricate crimes that exist or don't exist, and they have an omnipotent sense of privilege that they can cover up crimes."
