Yangju City Secures 1.5 Million㎡ of 'Industrial Area' for New Industrial Complex Development Planned
Purpose of Preventing Uncontrolled Development and Planned Maintenance
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province is set to secure industrial site allocations outside of industrial complexes, covering an area of 440,000㎡.
According to Yangju City on the 29th, the city included plans to secure new industrial site allocations from the initial stages of establishing the '2035 Yangju Urban Master Plan' to prevent indiscriminate development and to enable systematic maintenance of existing factory locations.
Furthermore, the city has secured 3.76 million㎡ of urbanized land planned for industrial use, of which 1.5 million㎡ can be designated and promoted as industrial areas outside of industrial complexes according to the 4th Metropolitan Area Readjustment Plan.
