Choi Jong-hyun Appointed as G20 International Cooperation Ambassador, Kwon Yong-woo as International Expo Organization Cooperation Ambassador
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The government announced on the 29th through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that it has appointed Choi Jong-hyun, former Ambassador to Italy, as the G20 (Group of Twenty) International Cooperation Ambassador, a special envoy position, and Kwon Yong-woo, former Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, as the International Exposition Bureau Cooperation Ambassador.
Ambassador Choi will oversee the preparation for the G20 Summit and support economic diplomatic activities. Ambassador Kwon will be responsible for building the network of the International Exposition Bureau. The term of office is one year, starting from January 1 of next year.
