A큐온 Savings Bank Executes Organizational Restructuring Focused on 'Digital Optimization'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Accuon Savings Bank announced on the 29th that starting January next year, it will reorganize its existing 'division'-type organization into a 'module'-type organization and newly appoint a digital expert executive. The plan is to transform the organization from business-based to function-based, establishing a digital-friendly and organic work system to achieve a digital bank transformation.
In particular, the Digital Innovation Division, established in 2019, will be reorganized into the Technology Module to further strengthen digital optimization. Additionally, a Connect Module will be newly established to secure future growth by innovating business models through the development of new products and services as part of the digital transformation.
To this end, Kim Do-wan has been appointed as the new head of the Technology Module. Leader Kim Do-wan was a founding member of K Bank, Korea's first internet-only bank, where he served as head of the ICT Convergence Headquarters, focusing on building IT organizations and systems. He developed financial hub infrastructures such as web banking, open API, and firm banking, and was the first in the industry to develop a non-face-to-face apartment mortgage loan.
Before joining K Bank, he worked as head of the online business division at Samsung Securities, contributing to building online business infrastructure and raising Samsung Securities' online market share by 25%. As a founding member of Kiwoom Securities, he built major trading systems including Kiwoom Securities' HTS Hero and Mobile Hero. At Accuon Savings Bank, as CTO (Chief Technology Officer), he will focus on advancing mobile apps and digital infrastructure necessary for optimizing digital banking, enhancing the ability to respond to changes in financial trends.
Seo Young-jong (Executive Director) has been appointed as the leader of the Connect Module. The Connect Module is an organization that discovers various potential business opportunities or areas for improvement existing between the company, customers, and the market, and connects them organically. Leader Seo Young-jong, as CDO (Chief Data Officer), will play a central role in digital transformation, focusing all efforts on discovering new digital finance businesses, internal process innovation, and digital marketing.

Leader Seo Young-jong previously served as head of risk management (Executive Director) at Woori FIS, overseeing information security (CISO/CPO) and software quality management for Woori Financial Group.
