The nerve block treatment cost for herniated disc was planned to cover the procedure treatment for the commonly encountered disc (herniated disc). As of 2019, there were 3.08 million disc patients in Korea, and about 40% of them receive nerve block treatment for pain relief.
This special contract supports proactive preventive treatment before surgery and is expected to help reduce indiscriminate manual therapy by quickly eliminating pain. DB Insurance plans to expand this coverage to comprehensive insurance products such as Chamjoheun Happiness Double Plus Comprehensive Insurance.
