Recruitment of 210 Dormitory Residents in Gyeonggi Province... Until February 3 Next Year
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is recruiting new residents for the public dormitory 'Gyeonggi-do Dormitory.'
On the 29th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will recruit 210 new residents for the Gyeonggi-do Dormitory from January 3 to February 3 next year, targeting university students and youth residing in the province.
The Gyeonggi-do Dormitory is located in Seodun-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon City, with a total capacity of 278 people, consisting of 91 triple rooms and 5 single rooms. The target for this new recruitment is 210 people, excluding returning residents.
Eligibility for application requires that, as of the announcement date, the applicant's registered address has been in Gyeonggi Province for at least one year, or the total period of registered address in Gyeonggi Province is 10 years or more, and the applicant must be a university student or youth.
Applications can only be submitted online through the Gyeonggi-do Dormitory website. University students will be selected based on income criteria (100 points) and additional points (if applicable), while youth applicants will be evaluated based on income (30 points), independence plan (20 points), and interview (50 points).
The province will conduct document screening from February 4 to 7 next year, interviews on the 8th, and announce the final candidates on the 10th.
Selected residents can live in the dormitory for one year from February 25 next year to February 10, 2023. By paying a monthly fee of 200,000 KRW and a deposit of 200,000 KRW, residents will receive support for living, including breakfast and dinner.
