60s Elderly Man Who Collapsed on Christmas Road Dies After Testing Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A woman in her 60s who was found collapsed in front of a church in downtown Seoul on Christmas Day and rescued was diagnosed positive for COVID-19 the next day and eventually passed away.
According to the Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul on the 28th, Ms. A was transported by a 119 ambulance to Ewha Mokdong Hospital on the morning of the 25th after receiving help from nearby citizens in front of Yoido Full Gospel Church in Yeongdeungpo-gu.
During the rescue process, Ms. A reportedly stated, "I haven't eaten anything for a week," and revealed that she was a basic livelihood security recipient.
After testing positive for COVID-19 in a test conducted before hospitalization, Ms. A ultimately died on the 26th, the following day.
