KB Insurance, 2022 Organizational Restructuring and Executive Appointments: "Strengthening Digital and IT"
Integration and Establishment of Departments under the Digital IT Division
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Insurance announced on the 28th that it has carried out an organizational restructuring and executive appointments aimed at swiftly responding to new businesses and future environmental changes, as well as focusing resources on customers and field operations.
In this organizational restructuring, departments under the Digital IT Division were integrated and newly established. This was to strengthen digital and IT expertise, lay the foundation for rapid response to new business initiatives such as the full-scale promotion of the MyData business and the construction of next-generation IT systems, and future environmental changes. Additionally, functions such as enhancing the execution capability of the CPC (Customer, Product, Channel) operating system and operating company-wide data governance centered on customers were strengthened to concentrate resources on customers and field operations.
Organizational restructuring was also carried out to promote channel specialization and strengthen competitiveness. Through the reorganization of the Corporate Sales Division and the establishment of the Corporate Sales Headquarters, competitiveness in the general insurance market focused on profitability was enhanced. At the same time, in the Personal Sales Division, the plan is to proactively respond to changes in the insurance sales environment by expanding the TC Channel Business Unit and branches in growth areas.
Furthermore, the Brand Strategy Headquarters was newly established to be in charge of public relations and volleyball team operations, strengthening internal and external communications.
