Jugeum Gong Extends Support for Early Repayment Fees on Bogeumjari Loan Until June Next Year
70% Refund on Fees for Early Repayment of Bogeumjari Loan
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced on the 28th that it will extend the deadline for the Bogeumjari Loan Early Repayment Fee Support Event until the end of June next year.
The Housing Finance Corporation has been conducting the 'Bogeumjari Loan Early Repayment Fee Support Event' from October 25th until the end of this month. The corporation refunds 70% of the fees paid when repaying the Bogeumjari Loan early.
The corporation expects that about 12,000 customers who repay the Bogeumjari Loan early will be eligible for the refund, with the refund amount estimated to be around 1.2 billion KRW.
A representative of the corporation explained, "Customers who repay early by the end of November will receive the fee refund by the end of this month," and added, "Customers who repay early in December can receive the refund by the end of January next year."

President Choi Jun-woo said, "This extension of the event deadline is a measure to reduce the financial burden on early repayment customers and to encourage early repayment by customers who have the capacity to do so, thereby concentrating resources on low-income and real demand groups," and added, "We will continue to expand inclusive finance and make ongoing efforts to ensure housing stability for the public."
