The Ministry and SBC plan to continue the favorable export trend of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) next year by providing customized services for each company through the Export Voucher Project, strengthening export capabilities, and contributing to resolving logistics difficulties of SMEs through support for the Logistics-Only Voucher. The total support scale for the 2022 Export Voucher Project is 95.7 billion KRW, and in this first round of recruitment, a budget of 76.5 billion KRW, which accounts for 80% of the total budget, has been allocated. Approximately 2,500 companies nationwide will be selected through evaluation and will begin full-scale support starting in March.
Selected companies will receive government subsidies ranging from 30 million KRW to a maximum of 100 million KRW depending on their export scale in the previous year, and can freely choose and use desired services from a total of 13 service menus including design development, overseas certification, and patents.
The Logistics-Only Voucher Project was first implemented this year as a supplementary budget project to resolve logistics difficulties faced by SMEs such as shortage of shipping space and continued high freight rates. Next year, the budget will be increased to 11.8 billion KRW from 10.9 billion KRW last year to continue support for resolving logistics difficulties of SMEs. The Logistics-Only Voucher is divided into two types: ▲long-term transportation contract support and ▲general logistics support, and participating companies will be recruited through separate announcements. In 2022, recruitment will begin with the long-term transportation contract support category, providing up to 20 million KRW per company, of which 70% will be subsidized by the government.
