Busan Office of Education and LG CNS Sign Agreement to Distribute AI-Based English Learning Program
Middle and High School 'Speaking Class' and 'AI Tutor Mission English' Utilized for English Conversation Service
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and LG CNS signed a business agreement at 3 p.m. on the 27th at the Office of Education to promote the "AI-based English Learning Program."
This agreement was made to activate "blended learning classes" in English subjects and strengthen digital-based education to cultivate talent suitable for the digital transformation era.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will provide the AI-based English learning program free of charge to all middle and high school students and teachers starting next year.
LG CNS will provide the English learning service production platform "SpeakingClass" free of charge until 2026. In addition, the AI-based English conversation learning service "AI Tutor Mission English" learning rights will be provided free of charge to middle and high schools in the district until the end of next year.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will promote and guide the use of "SpeakingClass" and "AI Tutor Mission English" learning rights in middle and high schools in the Busan area through consulting, briefings, training, and workshops.
Also, by operating six pilot teams for AI-based English class projects utilizing lead teachers, they will present utilization models and directions for the learning program.
In February, a program briefing session will be held for middle and high school English teachers. The learning program will be distributed to middle and high school students starting in March.
Students can develop their English conversation skills independently without time and space constraints by receiving AI-based learning content, and they can engage in personalized learning tailored to their level and interests.
