Golfzon County Ora Donates 14 Million KRW to Underprivileged Groups
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Chang-won] Golfzon County Ora announced on the 27th that it visited the Ora-dong Office in Jeju City on the 24th and donated 14 million KRW to support the underprivileged and disadvantaged neighbors in the Ora-dong area.
The donation ceremony was attended by Lee Seung-ah, Provincial Assembly Member, Oh Soo-won, Head of Ora-dong, and Kim Woo-shin, Head of Golfzon County Jeju Business Division.
Golfzon County Ora is one of the golf courses participating in the nationwide ‘2021 Happy Companion’ relay donation campaign conducted by Golfzon County golf courses this month.
Kim Woo-shin, Head of Golfzon County Jeju Business Division, said, “Part of the donation was raised by employees, which makes it even more meaningful,” and added, “We will continue to support various sharing events to help neighbors in the local community.”
Provincial Assembly Member Lee Seung-ah responded, “I have heard about Golfzon County Ora’s good deeds and sharing events from local residents,” and expressed, “We deeply appreciate Golfzon County Co., Ltd.’s love for neighbors.”
Meanwhile, Golfzon County Ora, operated by Golfzon County since September 2020 as the first golf course in Jeju Province, has been continuously holding sponsorship events for youth and children in cooperation with the Golfzon Cultural Foundation.
Recently, it delivered 700 sets of school supplies (worth approximately 21 million KRW) to the Ora-dong Office for local children.
