Ha Tae-kyung, Is the Smearing of Lee Jun-seok Yoon Seok-yeol's Youth Policy?..."It Only Encourages Youth Defection"
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, criticized the atmosphere of criticizing Lee Jun-seok on the 27th. He stated that the issue of the youth support base's defection from Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, cannot be resolved by "killing Lee Jun-seok."
Through social media (SNS) on the same day, Ha said, "There is a current trend within the party that if Lee Jun-seok is removed, the candidate's approval rating might rise, but I express serious concern," diagnosing that "the main reason for the recent drop in Yoon's approval rating is the youth's defection caused by the camp's flawed youth policy stance."
He pointed out, "The urgent task is to diagnose what is wrong with the current camp's youth policy stance and prepare alternatives," adding, "If we do not correct these mistakes and only focus on killing Lee Jun-seok, it will only further accelerate the youth's defection."
Ha argued, "The current camp's youth policy is in a state of confusion due to clumsy gender conflict reconciliation measures such as recruiting Lee Soo-jung and Shin Ji-ye, anti-game and youth personnel recruitment, and imitating youth sensibility with things like 'Minji-ya, please help'," insisting, "It must be corrected immediately."
