Hamyang-gun, Construction Market Revitalization... Joint Design Team Operation Promotion
Formation of 3 Teams Including 17 Facility Public Officials for On-Site Investigation, Surveying, and Design Document Preparation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will operate a joint design team from December 27 to the end of February next year to revitalize the construction industry, strengthen the capabilities of technical public officials, and achieve budget savings.
The joint design team is composed of 17 members, including Gang Deuk-man, head of the Construction and Transportation Department, as the overall leader, and facility public officials from the county office and eup/myeon offices. The team will operate for 64 days from this day until February 28 next year.
The county has organized the joint design team into three units: field investigation and surveying, and design document preparation. It is expected that by preventing potential problems and complaints on-site in advance, resident inconvenience during the construction process can be minimized.
Furthermore, through the operation of the joint design team, the county expects to save 248 million KRW in design costs by self-designing 299 construction projects worth 6.865 billion KRW under the jurisdiction of the Construction and Transportation Department this year.
