Bithumb Donates Funds to Nonprofit Foundation 'Peace Ones Korea'
Conducted as Part of CSR Activities
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Domestic cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb announced on the 27th that it has donated funds to the non-profit foundation 'Peace Ones Korea.'
Peace Ones Korea is a non-profit foundation under the jurisdiction of Seoul Metropolitan Government, with offices in 30 countries worldwide, aiming for international development, disaster response, and youth empowerment. This support from Bithumb was decided to fulfill the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR).
This year, Bithumb has continued its efforts for socially vulnerable groups. In May, in celebration of Family Month, Bithumb delivered daily necessities and family meal gift certificates to children and adolescents facing economic difficulties. In September, it donated all proceeds from book sales to Good Neighbors, supporting the 'Girls Support Project.'
Going forward, Bithumb plans to establish a system to continue its good deeds as a campaign.
