Yujinseop, Mayor of Jeongeup, Urges Active Promotion of Policy Changes Starting Next Year
[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] On the 27th, Yoo Jin-seop, mayor of Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk, presided over the last video executive meeting of the year and urged active promotion of various policies, systems, and laws that will change from next year, especially those closely related to citizens' lives.
According to the city on the 27th, Mayor Yoo emphasized that as new policies will be implemented next year, each department should actively promote the policies they are pursuing so that citizens do not experience inconvenience, and that there should be no cases where citizens cannot use services because they are unaware of the new policies.
With the year-end and New Year approaching, he ordered stricter management of duty and urged the public service community to take the lead in complying with basic quarantine rules such as wearing masks indoors in relation to the persistent spread of COVID-19.
In particular, he asked for thorough establishment of public service discipline to prevent any incidents that would damage the dignity of public officials due to drunkenness, duty violations, or misconduct.
Next year is a very important year as it is a turning point to conclude the 7th elected term and prepare for the 8th elected term, so he requested that all administrative power be concentrated to ensure that the projects pursued so far can be smoothly completed.
He also emphasized doing their best to be selected for projects by gathering prior information on various public contests from central ministries and Jeonbuk Province and preparing strategic response logic based on that.
Mayor Yoo said, “Along with this, on the occasion of the last executive meeting of the year, I express my gratitude to the public officials who have silently devoted themselves faithfully to their assigned duties,” and added, “Please continue to work wholeheartedly for the citizens next year as well.”
