The contest was held with a joint fund established by nine public institutions, including the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and Busan Urban Corporation, to revitalize the social economy in Busan.
Kwon Min-seok won the second prize, the Excellence Award, and a prize money of 1 million KRW for his proposal titled "Policy Proposal to Reduce the Use of Disposable Products in Busan's Food Delivery Industry."
In his idea, he suggested establishing a collaborative system between Busan City and self-employed business owners, where restaurants use reusable food delivery containers that are collected and recycled at the public level.
He proposed initially applying and promoting this policy for deliveries to school dormitories, mainly targeting university students who frequently use food delivery, to reduce disposable product usage.
He participated in this contest while completing the 'RC-type extracurricular program' operated by the Pukyong National University Center for Teaching and Learning Support, achieving excellent results.
