Hansong Neotec "Shinhwa IT Signs MOU with US 'Enovix' for Secondary Battery Components Supply for AR Devices"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hansong Neotek announced on the 27th that its subsidiary ‘Shinhwa IT’ has signed a strategic partnership agreement (MOU) with ‘Enovix’ for the development and supply of ‘next-generation silicon battery materials.’ Through this agreement, the two companies plan to develop and apply high-performance ‘lead tabs’ for metaverse AR devices and supply them to global top-tier AR device manufacturers.
Enovix, which signed the MOU with Shinhwa IT, is a promising next-generation battery company that was listed on the Nasdaq market in July through a SPAC merger.
With this business agreement with Enovix, Shinhwa IT has laid the foundation to strengthen its portfolio of secondary battery-related products by being able to supply high-performance lead tabs for metaverse AR devices. Shinhwa IT currently supplies high-performance lead tabs to a U.S. lithium metal battery manufacturer for electric vehicles (EVs), in which ‘SK’ and ‘Hyundai Kia Motors’ are shareholders.
