SH to Supply 2,028 Happy Housing Units Including Sillim Hillstate Gwanak New Foret
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 27th that it will recruit tenants for 2,028 Happy Housing units across 66 complexes, including Hillstate Gwanak New Foret in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu. The tenant recruitment announcement will be posted on the SH Corporation website on the 28th.
This supply targets 317 units in new complexes including reconstruction apartments, 285 remaining vacant units due to previous tenants moving out or contract cancellations, and 1,426 units for prospective tenants.
The exclusive area of the housing units supplied this time ranges from 13 to 59㎡, with a deposit price expected to be around 27 million to 265 million KRW, and monthly rent ranging from 100,000 to 840,000 KRW.
Happy Housing is supplied to university students, youth, newlyweds, etc., and applicants must be members of a household without homeownership, with a monthly average income per household member not exceeding 100% of the previous year's urban worker household income by household size, total household assets below 292 million KRW, and vehicle value owned by the household below 34.96 million KRW. These criteria may vary depending on the supply target, and detailed information can be found on the SH Corporation website.
SH Corporation announced that it will newly introduce a method for selecting prospective tenants for Happy Housing starting from this supply. Unlike the previous process where a new tenant recruitment announcement and related procedures were required when vacancies occurred, prospective tenants will be assigned immediately, allowing demanders in the respective complexes to move in quickly.
Applications for subscription can be made through the SH Corporation website from January 17 to 19 next year. However, for elderly or disabled persons who have difficulty applying online, postal applications will also be accepted from the 17th to the 20th of the same month (applications must arrive by January 20).
